Partnering with Wolfgang Droge, Mulé set out to create the only modern reproductions with parts fully interchangeable with the originals. Initially based in Farmingdale, New York, the company relocated to Big Timber, Montana in the mid-1980s, where it continued to refine its craft. In 1991, the Bryan family acquired Shiloh, ushering in a new era of growth and innovation. They expanded the facility, built the Boulder River Foundry for in-house casting, and introduced new models like the 1877 Sharps. Shiloh rifles gained international fame when featured in the film 'Quigley Down Under,' sparking renewed interest in the Sharps legacy. Despite challenges such as maintaining artisanal quality amid growing demand, Shiloh has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence, historical fidelity, and customer service.
